Birthday Falls
Three different color styles of birthday cards, created to capture the excitement and wonder that both waterfalls and birthdays bring out in us, whether we are young or old.

Holidays
I decided to try quilling for the first time. What resulted, was a holiday card for my parents. The materials needed were very simple. The process was very enjoyable. With the right glue, it was surprisingly easy to get the paper strips to stay upright, or perpendicular from the background paper.
Gratitude Ribbon
I love calligraphy and I enjoy sewing small projects. These letters were hand-sewn onto cardstock, with a bit of glue to attach the curled letter tips.

Dad
I was inspired by the artwork for Baz Luhrmann's rendition of "The Great Gatsby" (2013). My father is an architect, so I knew he would appreciate the construction of this art deco style. I didn't have a Cricut cutter back then, so I cut each piece by hand! The border was done in two pieces, so that one could be layered on top, slightly raised by thick gel double-sided tape. The rest of the card is just silly humor for my dad.
Mom
I have a wonderful mother who shares my love for penguins. This was created with a combination of hand-cut and punch-cut pieces.
Helen
I created this card for my friend when she moved away. Both layers of her name are hand-cut, glued together, and fastened to the card with thick, foam double-sided tape, to elevate it from the card.
